Gloria Harrison

I have always loved fabrics and sewing, and make most of my own clothes, particularly for special occasions. I happened to be looking at some images of fascinators a couple of months ago and thought to myself ‘I could probably make one of those.’ That thought sent me on the road of finding out more on the internet.

I came across the how2hats website and looked at their list of books and, as they looked easy to follow and reasonably priced, I decided this would give me the start I was looking for. The first e-book I used was Feathered Creations followed by Finishing Touches 1. And I also have a copy of Fantastic Feathers. Having discovered hat making I am completely hooked and have made 10 fascinators in my spare time within a few weeks. I can’t wait to make more and perhaps my new found passion will also earn me an extra income.
